Bidding on the ultra-rare copy of "Action Comics No. 1" that first went up for auction on ComicConnect.com on November 11th has now exceeded one-million dollars. The issue, which was published in 1938 and cost just 10 cents, is in near-mint condition (graded a 9.0) and previously sold for $86,000 in 1992 and then $150,000 in 1997.
There are only 100 copies known in existence. |
