Well Season 8 is coming to a close and you know what that means for Smallville don’t you? – Thats right! Time to kill off some pivotal characters to the show!! Entertainment Weekly’s Mike Ausiello has discovered from an insider on the show that both of these deaths will be the real deal. "These characters will die and they will stay dead," the source confirmed, "This is the real deal."
Now it doesn’t take a genius to figure out who the two will be. You can obviously see my picks. Chloe has long been thought to be on the chopping block and being the only main character not in the Superman mythology it seems likely she’ll be next to go. Even the Legion (visitors from the future) said they never heard of her. Chloe’s been on since the beginning if you recall and she’s added so much to the show. Let’s hope her acting ability has been recognized and she is moving on to bigger and better things.
Now Davis Bloom could be the other death (of course, the Doomsday side would live on). Or it could be Tess Mercer, who knows for sure? All that we’ve been told is that two regulars will in fact die. And that one is a long-time character and one is a little bit newer to the show.
Smallville makes me a little uneasy at times. I wonder if Season 9 will have any substance after all these actors have jumped ship. Well, what do you guys think? Will you be wastching next fall??
